Welcome to Kevin Griffiths the Puppetician's website.
Kevin is a BAFTA award winning animation director, animator, puppet-maker and puppeteer with over 20 years experience in the television industry. He has worked on popular programmes such as The Old Bear Stories, Bob the Builder, El Nombre and The Wombles. He also trained as a puppeteer on The Puppet Theatre Barge. He has led workshops in schools, colleges and universities across the country.

A succesful night was had at the Fun Rasing Event!!
Actor Judd Charlton compere for the night entertained us with his ventriloquist dummy philis, introducing the audience to a number of acts. Animation films, Shadow Puppetry - Kevin's new show 'Is Ted Dead?'and Live Music.

There are plans to do another EXPERI-MENTAL CAB HOORAY possibly April 25th.Kevin is also planning to run a range of Stop-motion Animation workshops as well as repeating the 4 day course in Shadow Puppetry for adults and teenagers this is down to the success of the workshop that took place in November and December 2009 and the high standard of the shows produced by the participants. Dates to be confirmed but will be some time in the summer and then repeated around November.
In 2010 Kevin will be producing six half hour shadow puppet shows for kids - ideal for special occasions, birthday parties and creative educational programmes in art centres or schools. Kevin has extensive experience teaching a range of age groups and learning abilities.
